Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was also a teammate and captain of the 2012's Fierce Five, and the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. In the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals in floor and team events, and a bronze medal for the balance beam. It made her one of the very first American gymnast in the Olympics with the highest number of medals. She took gold in the team event in the 2016 Olympics and was her as well as Gabby Douglas first Americans to be the first pair of gold medalists back-to-back. Silver medals were also awarded in both the all-around individual as well as floor workouts. In between the two Olympics she took an absence from competitive gymnastics for three years. Furthermore she was part of two gold-winning American gymnastics squads. Aly began gymnastics lessons at the age of 2 and enjoys floor exercise. Aly works with the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization to honor and remember her grandmother. Aly hopes to achieve a successful career in fashion. The leotards she wears as a signature as well as socks, and other clothing will be expanded in the future. The book she is working on is entitled Fierce to be published later this year.
